About the Studio Arts Program (for ages 6-9 and 10-13 years)

Our newest after school program provides a rich foundation for children to explore a wide variety of art mediums. In this studio setting, children have access to the knowledge and practice of working artists and are surrounded by people creating. Blackbird Arts Studio Art program works to nurture the voices, hearts and minds of young artists. The extended time alloted for this program ensures kids have a chance to problem solve, experiment, and build technical skills--all under the guidance of experienced teaching artists who understand what kids need at each stage of their creative development.

The flexible drop-off time allows friends near and far to join together for art classes!
