Spring into Screenprinting

Explore multiple ways to create images and use screens to print multiples--from drawing fluid and stencils, to digital media and printing transparencies. Experience printing on a variety of materials, such as paper, fabric and wood.  Participants learn to  prepare artwork and designs for "burning" screens and printing, mixing inks, registration, and printing in two colors.

In this workshop, we focus on creating original art work, to be used with drawing fluid and stencils. Drawing fluid is a brushable liquid used to fill the holes in a screen.  Stencils use cut paper or found objects to block the holes in a screen. We will use those stencils or objects to burn a coated screen.
